Chironix is a team made of some brilliant personalities and two of our longest-standing Engineers are not only the guidance and grounding of our team, but also two genuinely nice characters.
Kyle has been with Chironix since early 2020 and Akshdeep also joined the team shortly after. They’ve both been responsible for software development, sensor integration on robots and even creating processes that keep the rest of the team organised.
Now, it’s about time to learn more about these two and their personalities outside of their work. As per our conversations with our other staff interviews, we asked them some non-professional and some opinionated questions and have shared their answers below.

I try to convert things into linux terminal commands, for example watching cricket, I ll quickly write a bash script that would curl a website for scores, etc
I don't think I've made anything too quirky. It's probably a recipe scraper.
I have a custom made rover that was built as a part of Uni project. I would probably use that as a scout around my house
Roomba robot vacuum
Programming, having fun solving problems, my love for automobiles - robots are just automobiles on just a smaller scale with better smarts
My brother started studying Mechatronics and would talk to me about the things he was learning. I found it super interesting and so followed the same path.
Very Important. Evolving space of engineering and so much state of the art software/algorithms and hardware things keep coming. Definitely need to keep up with developments
Robotics is a fast moving industry with constant development. If you aren't keeping up with the latest news and trends you will be left behind.
That they are going to take their jobs away. All it's going to do is take away the repetitiveness away from the jobs. You still need people to do the smart thinking
People think that robots are taking over as depicted in Sci-Fi movies
Play games, gym, running, DIY stuff
Usually go camping and/or four wheel driving
More advanced/versatile robots and Better human-robot interaction
Robotics is such a dynamic and changing industry that I don't know if I can predict this.
Automobile Engineer/Designer
I would likely still be working with interesting technology
Learn the fundamentals of robotics, keep up with the technology and understand things fully
More importantly trust yourself
There are so many resources at you fingertips just try to soak up as much information as you can. If you are a person that learns by doing think of a project that interests you and start developing.
The impact that these two have had on Chironix cannot be overstated. We hope you’ve enjoyed meeting more of the team!
If you're looking for a way to bring technology into the classroom, robotics can be a fantastic option. Engineering, computing, and programming can all be taught to students with the help of robotics.
Furthermore, robotics can broaden students' horizons and increase their familiarity with STEM subjects in the classroom. However, if you want to use robots in your classroom, you need to put in a lot of time and effort in advance.
Chironix can provide you with a complete road map that incorporates lesson plans, kits, robots, and materials.
At Chironix, our mission is to create autonomous teammates of the future that can work seamlessly beside human beings to power up your classrooms.
