While the standard payload ports on Spot are designed for maximum flexibility, the GXP is designed to get you up and running quickly with more standard power and communication options. This expansion payload regulates Spot’s battery power and provides several voltage options appropriate for connecting laptops, processors, radios, and sensors. It also breaks out the main payload port into a conventional RJ-45 jack for 1000Base-T Ethernet, along with other signals, like the robot’s PPS (Pulse Per Second) source.
