Chironix today announced a new partnership with ScoutDI for the distribution, support and resale of the Scout DI drone System across Australia and New Zealand.
Scout DI’s tethered drone system with on-board Ultrasonic Thickness Measurement (UTM) and Gas detection is designed for confined space works in dangerous or prohibitive environments. The Scout drone system excels at BVLOS missions and expands the way clients capture, manage, and use inspection information from drone-enabled and remote inspection programs.
This partnership strengthens Chironix’s end-to-end inspection workflows by helping our clients reduce manual handling, improve traceability, and remove the need for personnel to enter confined spaces, accelerating the path from field capture to reporting and action.
What this means for Chironix clients
Through the Chironix + ScoutDI partnership, clients can expect:
- Safer inspections at heights, over water, near live equipment, or in hard-to-access areas
- Faster inspection in the Non Destructive Testing (NDT) space, with less operational disruption and streamlined reporting workflow
- Improved consistency and traceability across findings, assets, and follow-up actions
- Reduced administrative load by minimising rework, duplication, and manual consolidation
- Early defect detection through frequent lower-cost and lower-friction inspections enables better predictive maintenance outcomes
“This partnership helps our clients lift inspection quality and speed. Especially where drone-enabled capture and remote inspection play a growing role”, said Daniel Milford, CEO at Chironix.
“Together, we’re focused on enabling practical, reliable inspection intelligence that helps clients act faster and with greater confidence”, said Nicolai Husteli, CEO at ScoutDI.
Availability
The ScoutDI partnership capability is available to clients from March 2026, with onboarding support and implementation guidance provided by Chironix
